Real-world evidence

Real-world health and outcomes data can be gathered from an increasing number of sources, including electronic health records, claims databases, mobile devices and more. Real-world evidence is clinical evidence derived from the analysis of real-world data, and is now playing a role at many stages of health care decision making, from the design of clinical trials, through to the monitoring of uptake, usage and safety of a treatment post-launch. Content in this channel focuses on real-world evidence methods and implications.
