The European Health Data Space (EHDS) aims to promote health-data exchange in the European Union and is expected to have a major impact on real-world evidence (RWE), making it easier to collect, analyze and use real-world data (RWD). To ensure implementation and success of a pan-European health data space, the pathfinder project Towards the European Health Data Space (TEHDAS) was established to develop secondary use of health data European wide.
