ISPOR Europe 2023 – inside the second plenary: The good, the bad and the unknown of the pharma legislation proposal

Since 2020, work has been ongoing on a proposal for the revision of EU pharmaceutical legislation, which, after a difficult negotiation period, was recently adopted by the European Commission (EC). The second plenary at ISPOR Europe 2023 was entitled, “The New Pharma Legislation Proposal: The Good, the Bad or the…”, and Eberechukwu Onukwugha (University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, MD, USA) welcomed the moderator Anja Schiel (Norwegian Medicines Agency, Norway) to the stage with the question: why this topic, and why now?
