The Evidence Base® has a new publisher!
As of September 1st, 2022, The Evidence Base® has a new publisher – the newly-formed company Becaris Publishing Limited.
Real-world evidence (RWE) is now accepted by a wide range of stakeholders to support decision making across the pharmaceutical product lifecycle, as well as in clinical practice to provide true patient-centric care. Alongside this, the need for informative, trustworthy knowledge covering RWE has increased, which has led to an increase in the amount of content available and the engagement it receives. Becaris Publishing is dedicated to this space, providing accessible and trusted, evidence-based information across the RWE spectrum. It is now the home for two important resources in the field: The Evidence Base and the Journal of Comparative Effectiveness Research (JCER).
The Evidence Base®
The Evidence Base will continue to curate news, opinion and video content to enable a broad audience to learn about the latest developments in the discussion, regulations, research and application of RWE. The volume, breadth and depth of content will increase, enhancing the mission of enabling RWE through supporting greater awareness and understanding of the field. Our aim us to update our readers on all aspects of RWE to guide the development of new therapies, support regulatory approvals and inform treatment strategies, whilst tackling, through discussion, the significant methodological, legal and ethical challenges.
Journal of Comparative Effectiveness Research
The peer-reviewed journal, JCER publishes the latest peer-reviewed research and opinion from leading experts in the field. Launched in 2021, the journal is listed on all major clinical databases, such as PubMed/Medline and Scopus, and has a current Impact Factor of 2.040. As of 2023, all content will be published open access, providing readers with full and immediate access to some of the most important research content in the comparative effectiveness and health economics and outcomes research field, ensuring a funder-compliant publication route for all authors.
