Patients with heart problems are nine times more likely to suffer from serious COVID-19 complications without the vaccine

Researchers from Queen Mary University of London (UK) have analyzed 110 COVID-19 studies. The research, published in Frontiers in Cardiovascular Medicine, looks at the association between unvaccinated individuals and heart problems. It was found that those who contracted COVID-19 whilst having conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes or major heart damage where nine times more likely to experience serious complications – including death, lung failure, admission to the intensive care unit (ICU) and kidney problems.
