LexisNexis Risk Solutions® has announced the launch of its RWD Gravitas™ Network in collaboration with an array of new clinical partners across the US. LexisNexis’ next-generation tokenization, Gravitas Token, enables precise data linking across people’s entire lifetime healthcare journeys.

A powerful new RWD hub, the Gravitas™ Network, has been launched by LexisNexis® Risk Solutions. The network is fully interoperable, in collaboration with high-quality, de-identified datasets from a fleet of strategic new data partners. Gravitas features patent-pending, next generation tokenization that enables advanced precise data linking, which has the capability to reveal whole-person health journeys and unlock the potential of RWD.

Gravitas Token is the key component of the network. It is a HIPAA-compliant token that securely links clinically curated de-identified datasets with increased accuracy by using a referential data layer to help ensure the right records are precisely matched and linked over time. This facilitates longitudinal tracking across lifetimes as people, for example, move to new addresses, switch providers or change their name. It will also enhance holistic integration of patient socioeconomic determinants and lifestyle factors, comorbidities and inherited risk, etc., from disparate data sets.

The Gravitas Network features a patient-level social determinants of health dataset, a current and robust mortality dataset, and one of the largest multi-sourced, de-identified medical claims datasets in the US, in addition to its cohort of new clinical partners. Jeff Diamond, President and General Manager of the Health Care business of LexisNexis Risk Solutions said: “We’re honored to partner with these innovative healthcare organizations and look forward to working together to help solve some of the industry’s biggest challenges.”

“Partnering with LexisNexis Risk Solutions greatly advances our vision of saving lives with data,” said Terry Myerson, CEO of Truveta, a collective of 24 health systems representing 16% of USA clinical data. Additional organizations joining the network include: PointClickCare, a leading healthcare technology platform with over 20 years of outcome rich RWD in long-term and post-acute care; Solis Mammography, the largest independent breast imaging provider in the USA; and the Institute for Health Metrics, a community hospitals collaborative with the remit to advance nationwide health equity initiatives and clinical research in communities often under-represented in medical literature.

A next-generation member of the network is the clinicogenomic company Ovation, who are developing one of the world’s first platforms for generating and delivering human genomic data at scale, having over one million geographically diverse, consented biospecimens from over 425,000 unique patients, representing an extensive range of disease areas. General Manager Ed Stepanski said: “By providing secure and highly accurate tokenization, the Gravitas Token enables Ovation to link our high-quality genomic data to deep phenotypic data from additional real-world data partners”.
