On March 12 and 13, 2024, Amsterdam, The Netherlands will once again host the World Evidence, Pricing and Access Congress 2024 (World EPA Congress 2024), the largest congress in market access, pricing and evidence. This year, the congress will feature almost 300 speakers and bring together more than 1500 attendees from pharma, biotech and payers/health technology assessments (HTA) bodies.

The eight-track program will cover the latest trends in market access, reimbursement, payment models, affordability, health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) and real-world evidence (RWE). Topics include:

  1. Evidence: Patient-centered outcomes; evidence generation; and RWE
  2. Market access: Early access schemes; access in LMICs; and investment strategies
  3. Pricing reimbursement: Value-based health care; pricing from start-up perspectives; and procurement practices
  4. Rare diseases: Value-based therapies for rare diseases; payer engagement; launching products; and patient journey in accessing new treatments
  5. Advanced therapies: Pricing approaches for gene therapies; early pipeline development; and managed entry agreements
  6. Digital transformation: Data analytics; digital therapeutics; and use of data for HTAs
  7. HTA: New EU HTA regulations; gaps in evidence; healthcare decision-making; and risk sharing agreements
  8. HEOR: Clinical outcomes assessments; innovating economic processes; modelling health inequalities; and broadening the definition of value
