Introducing our new Research Hub curating ahead of publication research findings

Written by Joanne Walker

The new Research Hub provides a platform for authors to present their latest research in real-world evidence, comparative effectiveness, health economics and outcomes research.

The Evidence Base® has published the first two posters in its newly created content collection, called the Research Hub. The Research Hub provides a platform for authors to present their latest research in real-world evidence, comparative effectiveness, health economics and outcomes research. For authors who are looking to share their insights and make their findings available as quickly as possible, the Research Hub can help by allowing time-sensitive, enduring publication of research posters in a freely accessible format. Where permitted, authors can also use the platform to host their work prior to formal presentation at a scientific meeting/congress or publication in a journal.

A wide range of content will be considered for publication in the Research Hub. Case studies and other research where the lessons learned can inform health care decision-making are particularly welcome. The Research Hub also welcomes novel formats of research posters, such as videos, podcasts, infographics etc.

Commenting on the launch of the new collection, Laura Dormer, Editor of The Evidence Base, explained, “Often we talk to authors who have new research to present but there are no relevant conferences or meetings in a suitable timeframe to present their findings. We hope the Research Hub will provide a solution, allowing authors to publish their work in a timely fashion and enabling readers to learn from the findings presented.”

All research posters submitted to the Research Hub will undergo editorial review and approval prior to publication.

If you’re interested in submitting a poster for publication on the Research Hub, please email Laura Dormer, providing a brief synopsis of the research including the title and author details.
