Researchers from the University of Ottawa (Canada) have investigated the frequency of patient engagement in pragmatic trials, which assess the impact of treatments for common illnesses. The findings indicated that real-world data (RWD) from patients was not collected in half of trials. The full report has been published in PLOS Medicine.
