Countdown to ISPOR 2024

Written by Joanne Walker

Next week sees the highly anticipated annual international conference for ISPOR – The Professional Society for Health Economics and Outcomes Research, ISPOR 2024, taking place May 6–8, 2024 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA, USA. Here, we overview what attendees can expect at ISPOR 2024 and how The Evidence Base can help you stay up to date with the conference.

Navigating ISPOR 2024

With almost 5000 delegates expected to attend, the conference will feature a robust program covering the latest developments in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), centered on the theme, ‘HEOR: A Transformative Force for Whole Health.’ As explained by Rob Abbott (CEO, ISPOR) in his recent interview with The Evidence Base, ISPOR is looking to position HEOR as a key tool to help forge a world in which health care is accessible, effective, efficient, and affordable for all. The three plenary sessions have been developed to reflect this ‘Whole Health’ theme. The Evidence Base will be publishing in-depth coverage of the three plenary sessions at ISPOR 2024 on the same day they take place, providing our readers with an immediate summary and analysis of these important high-level discussions.

Over the three days, attendees have a choice of learning formats, including Spotlight Sessions, Workshops, Issue Panels, Educational Symposia and Exhibit Hall Theaters, covering 12 different topics within HEOR. In our recent feature ISPOR 2024: Navigating the conference program, Laura Dormer (Editor, The Evidence Base) provides her guide to making the most of the ISPOR 2024 conference. The Evidence Base will be publishing daily round-ups from the conference, summarizing some of the sessions that took place during the event.
