OMNY Health and Datavant partner to improve clinical research and drug development by accelerating real-world data delivery

OMNY Health and Datavant press release announces they will synergistically combine their respective vast healthcare data ecosystem and privacy-centric data connectivity tools to advance the large-scale harnessing of real-world data.

On June 15, 2023, OMNY Health and Datavant announced they are joining forces in a new alliance to accelerate the delivery of real-world data (RWD) from healthcare providers to clinical researchers and drug developers. The combination of the capabilities of OMNY Health’s vast healthcare ecosystem with Datavant’s suite of privacy-centric data connectivity tools will tackle healthcare data fragmentation barriers, enhance the ability to follow longitudinal patient journeys, and improve the diversity and equity of patient populations and provider organizations represented in clinical research.

OMNY Health is a premier healthcare ecosystem with a platform designed to facilitate cross-industry health data sharing in order to enable life sciences organizations to engage in collaborative research partnerships at scale, efficiently and compliantly. Datavant is a leader in helping organizations securely connect health data sets, protecting the privacy of patients while supporting the linkage of patient health records across datasets. Under the new partnership agreement, provider organizations using Datavant’s software will gain access to the OMNY Health’s platform suite of solutions to standardize, normalize, and de-identify their electronic health record data into research-ready data sets. These can then easily be joined with other third-party data sets available in the Datavant ecosystem utilizing Datavant’s privacy-centric data connectivity tools.
