Researchers from Yale University (CT, USA) have developed a new data analysis tool to evaluate the likelihood of COVID-19 mortality from immune cell types. The report associated with the new tool and its findings has been published in Nature Biotechnology. Over the entirety of the pandemic, large-scale data analyses of immune cells have highlighted the effect of T-cells and B-cells, which have been able to protect individuals from serious COVID-19 infection.
