New QCovid tool predicts vulnerabilities to COVID-19 in the vaccinated population

A new algorithm, developed by researchers from the University of Oxford (UK), may provide insight on the impact vaccinations have on risk of hospitalization from COVID-19. Published in the British Medical Journal, the pre-existing tool QCovid has been adapted to predict those at risk two weeks after vaccination. Following development over 2020, the QCovid tool has been a vital asset in informing UK COVID-19 policy.
