ISPOR 2024: planning ahead and key dates

At ISPOR Europe 2023 (November 12–15, 2023), almost 5500 attendees gathered in Copenhagen, Denmark to learn about the latest developments in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), real-world evidence (RWE), health equity and more. With the plans for ISPOR 2024 (May 5–8, 2024, Atlanta, GA, USA) in full swing, here we outline some of the key dates to be aware of to help you plan for and be part of one of the leading conferences in our field.

Key dates to participate in ISPOR 2024

ISPOR 2024 will offer attendees a variety of learning formats through engaging plenaries, spotlights, issue panels, workshops and more. ISPOR is seeking session proposals as well as research abstracts, enabling researchers to share their research, ideas, and knowledge with the global HEOR community.

  • December 14, 2023: Last date to submit Session proposals
  • January 11, 2024: Last date to submit Research and Case study abstracts

ISPOR is also seeking volunteers to serve as peer reviewers for research abstracts, as Research Presentation Award Judges for podium and poster abstracts and as Poster Tour guides. Learn more about Volunteering opportunities here.


Digital conference pass for ISPOR Europe 2023

For anyone who missed ISPOR Europe 2023, this year ISPOR are offering a new Digital Conference Pass option providing on-demand access to recordings of nearly all the educational sessions, plenaries, spotlights, and other content. Content will be available December 5 to January 9, 2024. 


Submit your research to the Journal of Comparative Effectiveness Research

Our partner journal, the Journal of Comparative Effectiveness Research (JCER), provides timely, open access publication of the latest research and opinion in RWE, comparative effectiveness and HEOR. If you have time-critical research you would like to publish in time for ISPOR 2024, JCER’s Rapid Review option will accommodate submissions as late as March 15 2024, with online publication in time to share with your peers in Atlanta (with acceptance subject to the journal’s usual high standards of peer review).
