In Focus: data completeness

Real-world data (RWD) is a valuable addition to the scientific knowledge gained from clinical trials, but to be most useful to researchers, RWD must achieve a level of completeness that allows the construction of a comprehensive picture of a patient’s medical journey. By rectifying many of the current barriers within the healthcare system, data completeness can be maximized and improve the quality of real-world evidence generation.

In this In Focus feature, produced in association with PicnicHealth (CA, USA), we will explore how data completeness can be achieved, the data involved and the positive consequences. Moreover, we will dive deep into the artificial intelligence and machine learning processes underlying data completeness.
