Aetion unveils new descriptive analytics application Aetion® Discover, a new intuitive interface for exploratory analysis of real-world data to generate swift hypotheses and insights across the biopharmaceutical and medtech lifecycle.

At ISPOR 2023, real-world evidence (RWE) technology and analytics leader Aetion launched Aetion Discover, a new descriptive analytics application created for exploratory analysis of real-world data (RWD). Demonstrated live during ISPOR, Discover features an intuitive interface to customize analysis and generate swift RWE insights and hypotheses, across the biopharmaceutical and medtech lifecycle.

The accelerating collection and use of healthcare RWD is driving the need for faster and simpler ways to understand large, longitudinal data sets and extract meaningful insights from them. Aetion have developed Discover, a new element built upon their core technology the Aetion Evidence Platform, specifically to power rapid exploratory analysis of RWD generated across the biopharmaceutical and medtech lifecycle. It enables users to view, assess, and select data sets for their specific analytic objective. Within and across data sets, users can define and describe populations of interest, and obtain and interpret results on any number of critical questions.
