New report estimates the Inflation Reduction Act will reduce out-of-pocket spending by nearly $7.4 billion annually for more than 18.7 million Medicare Part D enrollees in 2025.  Drug affordability continues to be under intense scrutiny in the US, with rising drug costs as well as high-cost specialty medicines resulting in many Medicare beneficiaries seeing growing out-of-pocket (OOP) costs.
