The Evidence Base becomes a media partner for the 1st GetReal Institute Annual Conference

The GetReal Institute has officially announced they have chosen The Evidence Base® as an media partner for the 1st GetReal Institute Annual Conference taking place on 16th March 2023 in Utrecht, The Netherlands.


The Institute is an independent, member-led, not-for-profit organization providing a multi-stakeholder collaboration between public and private partners to facilitate the adoption and implementation of real-world evidence (RWE) in healthcare decision-making in Europe. Founded in early 2021, the Institute builds on the the work two Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) projects: GetReal and The GetReal Initiative,

The theme of the inaugural conference is “A European Outlook on Real World Evidence in a Global Context”. The program features a range of speakers, including representatives from industry, academia, FDA, EMA as well as patient advocates, who will share their experiences and insights in the field of RWE. In addition to providing attendees with an overview of the landscape of RWE in Europe, the program will feature presentations exploring RWE in the US, Asia and Latin America. Different uses of RWE will also be discussed, including in the global research landscape, drug development, value assessment and patient-centricity.
