RWE Transparency Initiative publication seeks to build trust in real-world secondary data studies

The International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR; NJ, USA) has announced the publication of a report, produced by the Real-World Evidence (RWE) Transparency Initiative, encouraging the routine registration of hypothesis-evaluating RWE studies of treatment effectiveness. The publication embodies the Initiative’s larger goal of improving transparency and building trust in the use of secondary data in healthcare research.
