ISPOR 2023 – inside the first plenary: affordability, value and the role of the HEOR community

With rising healthcare costs and increasing disparity in access to treatments, ISPOR’s focus on getting the best healthcare to patients fast has never been more important. Here, I share an overview and key takeaways from the first plenary session at ISPOR 2023 (7–10 May; Boston, MA, USA), which examined healthcare affordability, value and the role of the HEOR community.
