ISPOR—The Professional Society for Health Economics and Outcomes Research (NJ, USA) has published an updated set of guidelines in the journal Value in Health as part of an initiative to improve current standards of health economic evaluations. The new Consolidated Health Economic Evaluation Reporting Standards (CHEERS) guidance is a replacement of the prior 2013 edition. Past ISPOR guidance has proved influential, as the past CHEERS report was noted as being the most cited ISPOR Good Practice Report to date.
